Gold-in-quartz was formed while the earth was still in its molten state. During the cooling and solidification process, veins of gold became trapped with the crystals of quartz in the mine. This created a very dramatic contrast between the white quartz and the yellow of the gold. Jewelry made from gold quartz became quite a fashion statement of the 1880’s. During the Gold Rush era in the American West, most of the gold quartz was mined in California around the San Francisco area.

Measurements: The pin measures 3 1/4″ long. just over 3/8″ wide, and 1/2″ thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The gold-in-quartz nugget is intact and securely set. The pin is free of deformations or bends.

Returns
Due to the multiple parties involved which include the factory as well as the warehouse, we cannot effectively manage inventory. Stocks can be changed at any time. Please be aware that it's possible that your order could be out of stock after you have made the order.
Our policy lasts thirty days. If thirty days have passed from the date you purchased the item, we will not be able to provide a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a refund the item must be unused and in the same state as you received it in. It must also be in the original packaging.
