A beautiful pair of mixed metals cufflinks from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! These beautiful double-sided cufflinks are crafted in vibrant 18kt yellow gold and are topped in platinum. A very fine engine-turned pattern decorates the surface of each cufflink face, surrounded by a delicate engraved border. Resting at the center of each link is a beautiful deep blue sapphire cabochon, which is held in a delicate milgrained bezel. Linking each side together is a gold bar connector in the center. The back of each cufflink face is stamped “750.” A wonderful pair of classic cufflinks, they would look perfect worn on special occasions!
Measurements: Each oval cufflink face measures 5/8″ tall, 3/8″ wide, and approximately 1/16″ thick. The gold bar connectors measure approximately 7/8″ long.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks are excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum-topped gold setting or to the engine-turned design. All four sapphires are intact, and the gold bar connectors are secure.
