An Italian horn is an amulet or talisman that is believed to offer protection against the evil eye when worn. It is also known by the Italian names cornicello and cornetto (or the abbreviated word “corno”), meaning “little horn” or “hornlet.” Typically, Italian horns are carved from materials such as red coral.
