A stunning opal ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in platinum, this gorgeous piece stars an oval-shaped Welo opal. The vibrant opal, which has an approximate total weight of 7.25ctw, displays gorgeous hues of blues, greens, and yellows which boldly flash in the light with every movement. The ring’s gallery displays a delicate pattern and the shoulders feature an engraved fleur design. The piece is completed by a polished platinum band marked “S” and “PM” inside. This ring strikes the perfect balance of delicate and bold and would make for a wonderful addition to any collection.
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.25 but could easily be resized. The opal measures about 21mm by 11mm and 5.5mm deep, weighing approximately 7.25ctw.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. The opal is intact and securely set.
