A beautiful moonstone ring from the Edwardian (ca1900) era! Handcrafted in vibrant 18kt yellow gold, a moonstone cabochon rests in a lovely North-East-South-West double-pronged setting. The setting is open-backed to allow light through the translucent moonstone, emitting gentle flashes with every turn of the light. The ring is completed with a smoothly polished golden band marked “18ct” on the inside. This simple ring merges seamlessly into modern-day fashion and would make for a perfect addition to any moonstone collection!
Measurements: This ring fits a finger size of a slender 7 but could easily be resized.
Condition: The ring is overall in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The moonstone is free of chips and scratches and is securely set. Due to the handmade nature of the ring, there is some asymmetry to the pronged setting but this is not significantly noticeable when worn.
