These charming signed gold Swiss Gubelin cufflinks from the Late Victorian (ca1900) era are fabulous! Made of vibrant 18kt yellow gold, the cufflinks have a simple, yet attractive and versatile design. Each double-sided cufflink is comprised of two gold discs connected by a gold bar link on the back. The surface of each disc is engraved with rows of circles that create a spiral-like design, giving the piece an interesting textured look. Both the connecting bar link and the back of each disc are stamped with multiple hallmarks, including “750”, “18”, a crown, and a variety of several other symbols. A classic and very attractive pair of cufflinks by an excellent maker, they would look fabulous worn by either a man or woman!
Measurements: Each circle on the cufflinks has a diameter of slightly more than 1/2″ and is 1/16” thick. When fully extended, the space between each cufflink measures 7/8″ long.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting.
