This beautiful conversion ring from the Victorian era (ca1880) has a wonderful, celestial-inspired design! At the center of the ring is a lovely crescent moon that encircles a delicate 3-leaf clover (or trefoil). Lining the surface of the crescent is a row of sparkling Rose Cut diamonds, which rest in a closed-backed setting. Nestled within the crescent’s interior are two old mine cut diamonds and one round cut ruby, representing the “petals” of the clover. The ruby omits a bright pink color against the crisp white diamonds. A charming Victorian piece, it would make a special addition to any antique ring collection!
Measurements: The ring has a large finger size of 5 3/4, but could easily be resized if desired. The centerpiece has a 1/2″ diameter.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The rose cut diamonds and ruby are intact and securely set.
